Deborah Poff began her career with the promotional products industry in 1974.
Her first "office" was the trunk of her red Fiat and one of her fondest memories is  calling on clients out in Arcadia during Rodeo Days. Cowboys on horseback towered above her as she drove down Oak St.

After 12 years as a sales representative with a local Sarasota firm, Deborah joined one of the largest distributors in the Southeast region and quickly earned her position as their top sales producer.

In 1989, Deborah and Valarie Clark established their own promotional products distributorship, Bitner-Poff and Co. Their client base is predominately located in Sarasota and they also enjoy well-established national and international accounts.

Deborah has served on various industry and community related boards of directors including: The Promotional Products Association of Florida and The Humane Society of Sarasota County.

Valarie Clark entered the promotional products industry after an enjoyable 10  year retail management relationship with The Limited Corporation. She started as a store manager in Joliet, IL and worked her way to larger and larger stores located in cities between Chicago and Lancaster, PA. In 1986 she transferred with the company to Sarasota, FL.

Interested in remaining in sales, yet desiring a change, she went to work as a sales representative for a large regional promotional products distributorship.
It is her experience as both an "inside" manager and an "outside" sales rep that
made the transition to mastering the day-to-day operations of Bitner-Poff and Co. such a natural and successful career move.

Valarie is affectionately known as "The Big Head Behind The Desk." When she is not working, she's feeding her "yearnin' for learnin'" at Manatee Community
College or spending time with her 3 dogs and 3 cats. She's also been known to make bird feeders out of hub caps and insists that "good art can come from spray cans."

Phoebe Lou Poff joined Bitner-Poff and Co. in 1996. She has enthusiastically worked her way up the ladder from Official Door Greeter to her current position as Executive Meeting Facilitator. When not working, Phoebe can be seen cruising around Sarasota in her convertible while sporting her designer eyewear. She enjoys the dog biscuits from Starbucks on the corner of Bee Ridge and Beneva but wishes they would give her those little shortbread cookies instead.

Heidi Lou Poff is a part-time employee. Her area of expertise
is security and foot-warming. She also has taken it upon herself
to be our official food-taster and garbage inspector. We appreciate her enthusiasm and attention to detail. If you are lucky enough to meet her, don't let her bark scare you, she'd sooner hide from you than bite you.
